Two variants
Guided or Self-build. Same steps, different hands.
Both variants cover the same four steps and end with the same decision. The difference is who holds the mouse in the first process.
We build the first process with your team
Interviews or a workshop, the diagram on the screen while people talk, analyses and a deck for the decision. Your team is in the room from the first minute. Then your process owner builds the next process alone, with us on call.
- First process: built together
- Second process: your team builds, we support
- Weekly check-in until the decision date
Your builders work, we set up, train and support
Your team works in patchley from day one. We set up the organisation, train the builders on the first day and support them weekly: questions, review of the diagrams, help with templates and CI. The first process is yours from the start.
- Set-up and training by us
- Your builders build, from the first process on
- Weekly support session until the decision date
Four steps
Set-up, first process, handover, decision.
Fixed scope. The pace is set by your interviews and your team's availability.
- 01
Set-up
Your own organisation in patchley: org chart, analysis and slide templates, your corporate identity for the decks, users and roles.
- 02
First process
From interviews, meetings or documents: a BPMN 2.0 diagram, step-by-step analyses and a PowerPoint deck for the people who decide.
- 03
Handover
Your process owner builds the next process alone. We are there for questions and review the result with you.
- 04
Decision
Success criteria agreed at the start, a decision date, then the licence offer. Account and work stay with you either way.
What you have in hand
Ten results from your own processes.
The starting point: the people who do the work describe how it runs. Everything happens in the browser, with nothing to install.
| Done | Result | What happens | Who takes part |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your key processes as diagrams | Staff describe how the work runs, or the existing handbook is uploaded. The result: a BPMN diagram with roles, systems and check steps. | StaffModerator | |
| Corrected and agreed | Just say what is wrong: “Accounting does the approval.” The diagram is adjusted, and earlier versions stay available. | StaffModerator | |
| Work instructions for every step | Who does what, with which tool, and what to watch out for. For onboarding and holiday cover. | Moderator | |
| How your processes connect | A process map, from the enquiry to the invoice. | Moderator | |
| A list of weak points | Duplicate entries, media breaks, waiting times, unclear responsibilities, each with a suggestion. | StaffModerator | |
| An overview of the controls | Who checks what, at which step. Useful for auditors, insurers and audits. | Moderator | |
| Effort in numbers | Time and cost per step. This shows where automation pays off and where it does not. | StaffModerator | |
| A To-Be process, including AI steps | Which steps an AI agent can take over and where a person approves, documented so anyone can follow it. | ManagementModerator | |
| A decision deck for management | An editable PowerPoint in your colours and with your logo, filled from the diagram, the analyses and the numbers. | ManagementModerator | |
| Everything as files to keep | Excel, PowerPoint, images and BPMN 2.0 XML, which opens in Signavio or Camunda Modeler, for example. | Moderator |

Scope, price and what you keep.
Who it is for
Teams that want the first process to be their own.
Process, quality and organisation teams that have a concrete process to start with and a person who will own it afterwards.
If you want a modelling service that delivers finished diagrams without your team in the room: patchley is built for people who describe their own work.
